Character Name: Lelouch Lamperouge/ vi Britannia

Series Name: Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion/ R2

Point in canon: Post-death, after ep 25 second season.

Character History:
Lelouch discarded any regard for his soul a long time ago. Son of the 98th Britannian Emperor, he made it his life's mission to destroy Britannia In order to ensure his sister's happiness and to avenge the death of his mother. Having acquired a power known as 'Geass' which enabled him to control minds, Lelouch took up the role as the sole leader in a revolution against the superpower and launched a full-scale rebellion against Britannia.

Possessing natural military ingenuity, the battle tactics he formulated played a large role in his army's success. However, geass was his trump card. With the power to bend the wills of others, he could easily turn any situation to his advantage, taking with him any lives that crossed his path, including any unfortunate innocents. In the end, Britannia would have been no match for his strategic deceit.

However, his plans suffered a major fallback when Nunnally -the driving force for all of his actions- was thought to have been killed in a cataclysmic explosion. Having lost the only thing he really loved in life, he delved into a deep depression and nearly simply surrendered himself to his enemies. However, his army helped him realize that the while to him, the war against Britannia may have centrally only been about Nunnally, it was about so much more to everyone else; a lot of people were counting on him. For their happiness, their well-being, their lives..

In a rare act of selflessness, Lelouch resolved to finish the mess which he had started. Seizing upon the opportunity of his sister's absence, Lelouch formulated a suicide plan which would ultimately bring down both sides of the war. By continuing to slaughter the rest of the royal family and in killing his father, the crown finally fell to him making him the 99th Emperor of Britannia. Turning his back on his army, he imprisoned them, and continuing on the path of control and destruction he'd set for himself, Lelouch subjected the Britannian people to his wrath and quickly became regarded as the worst Britannian Emperor in history.

Loathed, feared, hated by everyone, Lelouch had successfully gathered all of the world's negative energies on himself. During a royal procession a few months later, he had his childhood friend interrupt and slaughter him with his own sword for the whole world to witness.

He died in infamy, and the relieved people whom he'd oppressed -the same ones that once oppressed each other- could now focus all their energies on reconstruction. That was Zero Requiem.

Lelouch had long since embraced the horrible fate which death undoubtedly held for him. And it was in this expectation that he found himself in the middle of a flight of endless stairs...

Character Personality:
At his very most central core, Lelouch is a deeply caring person who has a strong sense of responsibility for his blind wheelchair-bound younger sister, Nunally. Everything he did in life was dictated by what he believed would be to her benefit, even if it meant destroying the world and himself) to ensure what he perceives as her well-being. But though he is a loving brother, his moral standards are less than pure. An unstable upbringing combined with the horrific murder of his mother marred Lelouch's psyche, and he emerged from childhood with a set of ideals that most people would refer to as being slanted.

By nature, Lelouch is a very selfish and obstinate person, but he is also highly intelligent. When compounded with the unconventional ideals that he holds, these traits make Lelouch an extremely dangerous individual. Sly and cunning, the only person to have ever beaten him at chess was his older brother, which hints at his military ingenuity in both diplomacy and battle. With the sole exception of Nunally, Lelouch has a general dis-value for human life and won't hesitate to take it away if it serves his purposes. He is an entirely logical person and easily discards natural human emotions that would otherwise interfere with the most logical course of action, even if it means betraying or killing a friend.

In a relatively peaceful and normal setting, Lelouch is almost a normal guy. A bit introverted and reserved, he would much rather sit down with a nice book or curl up for an afternoon nap instead of engaging his with his friends in a trip to the mall. When he can, Lelouch enjoys the simple things in life -the wind blowing, the trickle of a stream. Part of his selfish nature, he is very lazy and avoids any physical activity when at all possible which, in turn, makes him extraordinarily weak and intolerant to anything that requires physical exertion. Often contradictory to his own actions, he cannot stand to see injustice done to anyone and will retaliate against the aggressor whenever he can.

Spiral RP Quirks and Weaknesses

Flatline -Lelouch is dead. As such, his heart no longer beats, leaving him with a body temperature that is colder than the bodies of those who are living. (Approx. 70*F) This particularly poses him an obstacle during bouts of cold weather, causing him to become hypothermic easily and taking him much longer to warm up. Despite his lack of a pulse though, he is still cursed with the ability to bleed.

Rose-tinted vision -having lived so lavishly in life, possessing a painfully selfish nature, and being a devout liar, he is cursed in death with an affliction that makes him blind to things that are unsightly or dilapidated. He can not see, hear, smell, or feel these things as they really are -instead, he sees them as being beautiful, exquisite and expensive things. In some cases, he may simply not see an object at all.

Phantom Pain -Lelouch continually feels varying levels of a dull phantom pain in his gut where he received his death wound. There is, of course, no actual wound present. More of a mild annoyance than anything, he may be more sensative to injury in this area.
